Summary: A vehicle belonging to the Sacco managed by the accused was flagged for speeding. The NTSA official handling the matter asked for the SACCO officials to produce the driver and the vehicle for processing of charges. The SACCO through the accused reached out to the NTSA official offering to give him some 10,000/= in exchange for him to drop the charges. The NTSA official upon receiving this offer contacted EACC officials who facilitated recordngs to verify the complaint and laid a trap for the accused.He was arrested by EACC officers as he offered the bribe to the NTSA official.
